eOne nabs 'Comedown' in France
LONDON -- eOne has clicked up French privileges to Menhaj Huda's horror pic "Comedown," that is lensing working in london. Huda ("Kidulthood") directs the pic, that was formerly acquired by Studiocanal for that U.K., from the script composed by Steven Kendall. Story follows six buddies who've known one another from childhood and enter the tower block they resided in as kids. When one of these gets lost, they soon realize that they're not by yourself within the building and someone within the shadows starts to search them lower. It stars Jacob Anderson ("Chatroom"), Jessica Barden ("Hanna"), Sophie Stuckey ("The Lady in Black"), Duane Henry ("W.E."), Calum MacNab ("The Firm"), Adam Deacon ("Anuvahood") and Geoff Bell ("RocknRolla"). Audio-video Pictures is handling worldwide sales, while Serotonin Films' Dominic Norris and Phoenix Wiley's Gareth Wiley produce the pic. Contact Diana Lodderhose at diana.lodderhose@variety.com
